Meet Mrs. Swenson
 Hi, I am your kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Tina Swenson. I'm very excited to start the 2023-2024 school year! This year will be my 15th year teaching at Mabel-Canton and my 12th year teaching Kindergarten. I did my student teaching in kindergarten, and I truly enjoy working with this age group. Just a little bit about myself....I graduated from Mabel-Canton in 2003 and went on to school at Winona State University. I have a major in Elementary Education and Middle School Mathematics. I've been married to my husband, Matt for 19 years. We are blessed with three wonderful boys!! Shawn is almost 16, and is in 10th grade this year. Mason is 13 and is in 8th grade, and Owen is 10 and in 5th grade! We live on a farm north of Mabel. The boys stay busy helping out around the farm and keep us running to a variety of sporting events throughout the school year. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, getting together with friends, and being outdoors. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of my students and their families! I'm excited to see all the growth they will make this year!
