Welcome - 2025 Referendum Information - Mabel-Canton Schools

Dear Students and Parents:

Welcome to Mabel-Canton! I'm excited as I continue to serve the district as the Mabel-Canton Prek-12 Principal. Having graduated from Mabel-Canton and moved back, I have worked as a business education teacher and administrator for over the past 20 years. I am a Cougar at heart and excited for each school year.

Creating a positive climate conducive to learning is the goal of the Mabel-Canton School District.  We strive to provide the best educational experience possible. Our teachers will teach to the best of their ability every day; guiding your student on a path that will give him/her the skills necessary for a productive future in college or career after high school. I look forward to helping students succeed
. With the help of great teachers, support staff and supportive parents, our students will strive for their very best.

Success is not a matter of luck, but planning and organization.  Parents, you can support your student by checking to make sure that assignments are completed, making them accountable for their actions and staying in contact with teachers via email or telephone.  The consistent support and encouragement of parents result in greater success for all students.

I look forward to a successful school year.  Please stay involved, and call on your child’s teacher, counselor, or administrator for any assistance you may need during the school year.

Sincerely,

Michelle Weidemann
