| November 20, 2012 The Board of Directors of Independent School District #238 met in regular session on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the board room. Members present: Aberg, Adkins, Hall, Kuhn, Loppnow, Soiney, Swenson and Supt. Moriarty Also present: Tina Swenson, Katie Tweeten, Barb Kerns, Lonnie Morken, Mark Weidemann, Jeff Nolte and Chris Hansen The meeting was called to order by Chair Kuhn. The Pledge of Allegiance was said. Motion by Hall, second by Loppnow and carried unanimously, to approve the agenda. Motion by Adkins, second by Swenson and carried unanimously to approve the October 16 and November 13 minutes. Motion by Loppnow, second by Hall and carried unanimously, to approve payment of monthly bills. Motion by Hall, second by Soiney and carried unanimously, to approve two leave without pay days for Lonnie Morken between January 28 and February 1, 2012. Motion by Swenson, second by Soiney and carried unanimously, to approve posting an ad for a part-time Supt. for the 2013-2014 school year. Motion by Loppnow, second by Aberg and carried unanimously, to approve the 2012-2013 winter coaching assignments as presented. Motion by Adkins, second by Hall and carried unanimously, to approve Tyler Augedahl as a long-term substitute for Kelsey Morken who will be taking a maternity leave in December. Motion by Soiney, second by Adkins and carried unanimously, to approve Jessica Bouska as a long-term substitute for Katie Larson who will be taking a maternity leave in January. Motion by Adkins, second by Swenson and carried unanimously, to accept the resignation of Sandy Benson as building cleaner. The Board thanks Sandy Benson for her service.
