Hello and welcome to my website. This is the place where you can find out a little about me and a place to find information about the different class I will be teaching this year. On this site you will find my expectations and my philosophy of teaching.

Now a little bit about me.
am looking forward to being part of our students growth in education and into young adulthood. I previously spent 5 1/2 years teaching in Stewartville at the middle school. I was hired there right out of college and had a very good experience there. It was a tough decision to leave but decided to make the change because of the people in the Mabel - Canton district. As a former student of Mabel-Canton, I believe I received a good education with many opportunities with in the district. I like the small town and small school atmosphere.

After graduating from Mabel-Canton in 1997 I attended the University of Wisconsin STOUT in Menomonie, WI. I started my educational experience in a design field but after 2 years decided that this was not what I wanted to do. I changed my major to Technology Education (Industrial Technology). This was definitely a good move for me. I love teaching and I enjoy being able to coach and watch individuals mature.

I received my Masters in Technology Education from St. Cloud State University in 2007. I have also received a certification in Work-Based Learning and Career and Technical Education from Bemidji State University.

I'm married to my wonderful wife Sarah. We have 4 boys, who keep us very busy. Jaymeson, Cayden, Brevyn and Treyson. It is amazing how fast they grow up. Each day is an adventure!

This is a little information about me and my family. I look forward to having a positive impact on the students in this community.
