District Residents:

This year, the Mabel-Canton School District has four board seats available during the General Election on Nov. 5th.  During the filing period which ended Aug. 13th, three candidates filed for a board seat, which means that someone will be written in as a board member and asked to serve a four-year term.  If you are interested, the minimum eligibility requirements are as follows:  

1. at least 21 years old;

2. an eligible voter;

3. a district resident for at least 30 days prior to being appointed; and

4. not a convicted felon.
